Adya Smart Metering is a deeptech company that specialises in smart metering and advanced energy management solutions. Founded by Viraj Pathi in 2010 “Adya” meaning “Original” in Sanskrit, is known for its innovative approach and frontier R&D focus.
Adya made history as the first company globally to launch a complete RF Mesh-based smart metering solution, a breakthrough that has shaped the global utility market. Today, RF Mesh networks are projected to grow to 7 billion devices, representing a $690 billion market oppurchunity making Adya a trailblazer in smart metering technologies. The company then expanded its horizon to taking a unified approach in designing and manufacturing end to end range of products to cater to India’s Smart Grid Mission including Smart Meters, Communication Networks, Meter Data Acquisition Systems (MDAS), and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems.
